  1. This is so hard for me to answer! It's been so long since I have read a nursery rhyme. :) I even had to consult "The Google" to remind myself what was considered a nursery rhyme. I guess a mouse running up a clock is a bit strange (and alarming!)

  2. Rock-a-bye, baby is pretty strange. Who would put a baby and cradle up in a tree to get blown down by the wind? Strange!

  4. I feel like most of them are kinda dark, just like the original fairy tales. Rock a by Baby is disturbing if you actually listen to the words. Freaks me out. Question is...are there any that aren't discturbing?

  10. Nursery rhymes came out from a certain period of time. And yes they had some pretty wild and even political messages of the time. It's wild they became nursery rhymes eventually.
